What happens during a Treatment
Prior to receiving the treatment, there is a consulting period during which I will ask questions, and we will talk about your condition.
During a full Reiki treatment, the patient lays on a treatment table, fully dressed. I often ask that spectacles and watches are removed. As an added touch, I put on an aromatherapy oil diffuser, which gives off a wonderful aroma.
You will also hear some very calming background, music or sounds. When the patient is very comfortable, I begin the treatment which can take up to 1 hour. Every treatment is different, and every person has different experiences. Many patients fall asleep, or go into a deep feeling of calm during the treatment.
Not everyone feels something, which is perfectly fine, and it does not mean that the treatment did not work. It always works, but sometimes not on a perceivable level or on a level that the patient immediately feels.

Following the treatment, there is a post-treatment discussion where I tell you what I have seen or experienced and you feed back what you have experienced.
Virtually all of my clients identify a definite change and I usually see it in their eyes after the treatment. It is not always such an intense change, after a treatment, people generally feel really energized and recharged. Therefore, stress is also reduced. Patients usually sleep quite deeply during the night after a treatment.
